Bob Uremovich started Hobart meats with his dad in a small slaughter house in Hobart Indiana He grew this small business into one of the top slaughter and packing houses in northwest Indiana.
Bob’s passion for providing quality meats and customer service was carried on by his oldest son Pete. Who continued his dads values while growing the business.
Pete grew the wholesale business which consisted of roasting pigs and lamb that have been served at many local bars, churches, ethnic groups and festivals. Hobart Meats also provides pizza sausage to award winning Gelsosomos Pizza places.
Pete is now passing the torch to his brother Mike and Nephew Rob St. Germain.
Mike and Rob are planning on growing the business to the next level. Which includes new and improved roaster rentals, sausage, chops, burger, ribs and more. While still providing the quality and customer service Hobart Meats has been known for.
